Load lock transfer machines – Electron Beam Processing in a continuous process flow
Load lock transfer machines were developed from the load lock shuttle technology. The workpieces are mounted on a device and then moved, or they are transported through the machine from one process stage to another directly on a conveyor belt. The synchronization of the motion sequences and the individual process steps allows for an even shorter cycle time of the workpieces flow.
These concepts are particularly suited for the integration of complex production processes (flow principle) into fully automated mass production.
