Innovative Electron Beam Technology for the Benefit of Our Customers

Together with our customers we are always in search of solutions for constantly changing complex tasks. The reasons for this are for example concepts for cost minimization by means of new materials or material combinations, more and more demanding design solutions and not least increasing  requirements regarding  product quality.
In close cooperation with SLV Halle, pro-beam technologies GmbH pursues the objective to develop technological foundations for new electron beam applications in order to be able to meet the ever-changing requirements of the customers. For this, the process engineering competences of the pro-beam group are increasingly concentrated in Halle where process and method development is performed at the highest level.

The company operates a new chamber system with a size of 2.5m³ and a load lock machine, with a size of 2m³ working chamber, type S 20 – state-of-the-art equipment.

Due to the use of, for example, a vertical and horizontal electron beam generator, variable high voltage of 60 150 kV, multiple beam technology, an additional wire system, inspection by CCD camera and electron optics, a monitoring system for automatic quality control etc. it was possible to create optimal conditions for industrial research and development.
At the same time, this plant is highly productive and thus suited for demanding contract manufacturing tasks – it is an ideal interface between development and production.

The high industrial standard allows for using the machines also for the most complex customer orders and as back-up solution for the other pro-beam locations.
