Beam Focus

The electrons emitted from the beam source are afterwards centered and stigmatized. Then they move in divergent orbits towards the lens. After passing the electromagnetic lens they are focused in a point the distance of which can be freely adjusted. This point having the smallest beam cross section and the highest power density is called beam focus.
