Electron Optical Insight System

The electron optical insight system is based on the principle of the electron microscope.
The system analyzes the back-scattered electrons of a low power electron beam that was scanned over the workpiece surface and produces a monochrome image.
Due to the high resolution joints can be localized that are sometimes difficult to detect by > light optical insight systems. Evaluation electronics allows for the storage of the joining geometries and the realization of which by automatic welding. In many cases a defined joining contour is used for performing a nominal/actual value comparison of the component to be welded by using the electronic insight system. The detected discrepancies will be corrected by the CNC control during welding.
