Satisfied  pro-beam customers in California

Press Release of „Applied Fusion Inc“ San Leandro, California, concerning Installation of pro-beam chamber machine K480 (Abstract):
The largest job shop high-voltage electron beam welding machine (available for hire) in the Western Hemisphere is to be installed at Applied Fusion Inc.'s facility in San Leandro, California. It is now coming by ship from Germany due to arrive at the Port of Oakland on September 13th. In mid-2007 Jeff and Ron Musgrove concluded that a larger electron beam welding chamber would be needed for future U.S. industries. After negotiating for a number of months with the few manufacturers of large EBW systems and after several trips to Germany by our EBW Manager, we selected the German firm pro-beam. Without a doubt they are the world's most skilled and experienced engineering and qualified fabrication concern not only in engineering but also in the most sophisticated and advanced computer numerical controls (CNC) for its operations. Vacuum pumps, chillers, optics and TV monitoring, intricate electronic controls for precise movement of the work table and electron gun are the finest in industry. Tracking of the weld beam is within a few thousandths of an inch over several feet. Precise tracking and depth of weld penetration is a major feature of this advanced high voltage machine (150KV; 150,000volts).
