Electron Beam Welded Internally Hollow and Two Parts Output Shaft

For being able to meet the increasing requirements regarding cost-effectiveness and ecological aspects in future as well, new ground must be broken in drive component production. The pro-beam group supports its customers on this path by offering innovative solutions such as joining of internally hollow two parts output shafts using the electron beam. In addition to a weight reduction of about 30% compared to a shaft that has completely been made by metal-cutting, the use of this extremely distortion low welding technololgy can allow for a reduction of the production costs, for example due to the modular design and material savings resulting from optimized raw part designs.
