UMH Heating Machine as a Component of a Fully Automatic System for Welding Gears

Automotive suppliers use the advantages of homogeneous heating amongst others in gearwheel production. In the vehicle gearbox manufactoring process the gearwheel and the clutch body are welded together along a circular weld. The already hardened components are heated before joining them. The hardness of the tooth flanks must not be affected. Adapted  workpiece cores allow for precise heating of the components. Weld seams free of cracks and durable components are the high quality standards of the gear manufacturers.
