Tofu Sieves

In 0.5 mm thick stainless steel sheets bores with a diameter of 110µm at a pitch of 300µm are made. In series production 2000 holes per second are possible. Thus, for an area of 1100 x 500mm provided with about 6.5 mill. holes a perforation time of less than one hour will be needed.

According to the Japanese customer, the high quality requirements for these sieves result from the fact that the taste of the tofu depends on the diameter of the holes.
